Although any day spent on the Valiant was a tiring day, they were becoming harder and harder to deal with as time went on. Because, on not so rare occasions, the Doctor becomes very familiar with a jail cell. On slightly rarer occasions, he is with someone when it happens and they blame him. Rarer still is when it turns out to be a very good thing it happened at all. This is all of the above.
